Korean Gym Membership.

Today was the beginning of a new semester. I had (mostly) all new kids. I like my new classes, but I definitely miss my other students. I know I'll grow to love these ones just as much. I saw a few familiar faces of students who had switched into other classes. It was all about learning names today, which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The real test will come next week to see how many names I actually remember! :)

There is a new guy in our hagwon. His name is Teddy. He was hired to work on lesson planning and teach a few middle school classes. He's been Darren's best friend for ten years. :) We really like him a lot. I didn't get any feedback from the kids, so I'm wondering what their reaction is to a boy teacher...He's in an office with six women, but luckily he has Darren there to talk to! His English is really good, and he's already proven to be really helpful.

Tonight after work, Beth took me to the gym she goes to so I could officially sign up for a membership. Now that the weather is blazing hot, I'm losing a lot of motivation to run. Now, I'll have no excuse whatsoever to not exercise every day. The gym was nice. They have all the equipment you could need to have a good workout, and there are lockers and showers. Perfect. I signed up for a three-month membership, starting tomorrow!! :)
